Be Still
A 60-second pause for a busy day.
“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”
— Psalm 46:10 (KJV)
A short reflection
“Be still” is not a call to do nothing. It is a call to stop striving and remember who God is.
The weight you carry is not yours to hold alone. He is your refuge and strength.
Rest in Him. He will be exalted, in all the earth and in your day.
A breath prayer
- Sit comfortably and let your shoulders drop.
- Breathe in slowly: “Be still…”
- Breathe out gently: “…and know that I am God.”
- Repeat, unhurried, for about a minute.
